Working your number plate
into the art

Guide · Craft · 4 min read

Ask anyone why they want a blueprint of their car on a mug rather than a generic one, and the answer is almost always the same: the plate. That little string of characters is what makes a mug unmistakably yours.

What we can work in

It doesn’t have to be a number plate. Depending on the machine, people ask us to include:

How to choose what to include

Our advice is to pick the one detail that tells the story. A first car, a restored classic, a plane someone flew — the most meaningful piece is usually obvious once you say it out loud.

The drawing is the machine. The detail is the memory.

You’ll always see it first

Whatever you choose, it appears on the preview we send before production — so you can check every character is exactly right before your wrap goes to the mug.
