Caring for your
blueprint mug
A Bloo Print Co. mug will look great for years — our sublimation process bakes the image into the glaze, not onto it. Still, a little common sense goes a long way. Here’s the short version.
Dishwasher safe — with a caveat
Yes, the mug is dishwasher safe. The wrap won’t peel or fade. That said, the top rack is kinder than the bottom — less heat, less mechanical bashing. If you want it to look perfect after a thousand washes, top rack is the call.
Microwave safe too
Fully microwave safe. No metallic elements in the print, no foil, no problem. Heat your coffee with confidence.
Avoid abrasive cleaning
- Steel wool or harsh scouring pads will scratch the glaze over time — a soft cloth or sponge is all it needs.
- Strong bleach-based cleaners aren’t recommended for everyday use.
- For stubborn staining inside the mug, a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water does the job without any fuss.
Stacking
If you stack mugs, the rim of one sitting inside another can scuff the glaze at the contact point over time. A soft cloth between stacked mugs keeps things pristine — or just give it its own shelf. It’s earned it.
The image is baked into the glaze — it’s not a sticker, and it won’t wash off.
